Why Religious Studies?

It helps with their own personal development & supports an understanding of the spiritual, moral, social & cultural questions that surface again & again in their lives. In tackling difficult questions it provides pupils with insight that can work to challenge stereotypes, promote cohesion, and tackle extremism.

GCSE Religious Studies

Our GCSE Religious Studies specification provides opportunities for learners to follow a course that is coherent and that balances knowledge of core beliefs, teachings and practices of at least two religions, with an understanding of how they can be applied to philosophical and ethical themes.

A-Level Religious Studies

Our AS/A level Religious Studies specification will enable learners to develop their interest in, and enthusiasm for, a study of religion and its place in the wider world.
